Mr. Weon Young Jeon recently sat down for an interview with Issue Maker newspaper to talk about the growth of TG in the last eight years. “Rather than concentrate on what we see, we have focused on building our integrity based on authenticity,” Mr. Jeon said, emphasizing the expectation he has of himself and his staff on prioritizing substance over style. Since TG’s foundation in 2010, the company has gained a strong reputation in Korea as a small company operating in the area of IT governance in the public sector. This status has been recognized through awards from Innobiz, Hi-Seoul, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and most recently the Seoul Metropolitan Government award for leading small enterprises, which is awarded to small and medium businesses that are pushing to create a desirable and productive work environment for their employees. In the last two years, Mr. Jeon has set his sights on expanding the growth of the company into the global market. Since then, TG has conducted a number of consulting projects in Botswana, Jordan, and Vietnam, among others. Mr. Jeon hopes to continue to foster friendships abroad and deliver tailored services to each country, and not a singular and familiar approach. “I think when our colleagues abroad look at me they see a friend before they see a business partner. We want to work together so that we can go further.”
